  2. at about 23:51 you state that the US has converted itself to a militaristic power, implying a war economy. This is not true. Even during the Vietnam War, our defense spending did not go over about 10% of GDP. Even the latest wars in the Middle East have not seen our Defense budget got that high. We are usually at about 6%. Contrast that with the Soviet Union which was spending 40% on defense throughout the Cold War. This was a major contributing factor in their collapse.
