  1. The assumption that Biden will respond with anything remotely strategic is very flawed. This is the administration that oversaw the withdrawal from Afghanistan. This is a president who will not plainly state that the goal of supporting Ukraine is their victory. This is an administration that has been coddling Iran all along. A good example to expand on is the Ukraine one, I know Peter is not a fan of the Republican leadership in the US House of Representatives, but the speaker made a very correct statement after meeting with Zalenski not too long ago. He made a point of needing Biden to come out and say what his goal in Ukraine is. Biden never has. If Biden had, that could be debated. Say Biden came out and said our goal is for Ukraine to win and to kick Russia out of all its territory. First, the Congress debates that, and say they agree. Then you can debate what Ukraine needs to do that and can justify the expenditures. Can Biden provide a clear rationale for any of the actions we are taking, in Ukraine, the Middle East, the Red Sea or the South China Sea? Look at his national security team. This is one of the weakest we have had in decades. As the president himself likes to say: Come on man!
