  1. Great backdrop. I don't think you told us where it is, though. You are generally quite specific. After reading your books and watching lots of content, combined with my background and experience, I have to say that I can see the days of straight up colonization coming back. As the world breaks into trade blocks, which is coming right before our eyes, the control of natural resources becomes ever more important. This time it seems that the raison d'être (see how I worked in a little French there) will be the green transition. By the way, in following China there is another channel by a New Zealander living in China that I find useful. He presents a lot of good material from within China including CCP mouthpieces. China is so amusing, in a perverse sort of way, when they rail against any restrictions by the west and warn about forming trade blocs (cliques is the term they often use) when that is precisely what they want and are doing.
