  1. Quality is not measured in nanometers. It is measured by actual quality (failure rates, longevity, etc.). Using the most advanced chip making processes for IoT chips is just plain silly. There are very good applications for the most advanced chip technology, to be sure, but the vast majority of chips and applications do not require these.
