I guessed it had to do with the information that the switch is now closed would take one second to travel to the bulb or something, through the wire, at the speed of light, so I chose B. Knew I'd be wrong though and it'd most likely be either D or E, but couldn't reason my way to either answer and I've not done any maths in a quarter of a century. Now I'm guessing the important bit is not those 300000 km wires, but the one metre between switch and light bulb? Is that why it's 1/c? Would it be 2/c if the switch and bulb were two metres apart, is that how this works?
