@krishnaats7141 The governments benefited but many,many people were living in poverty in Britain,working in work houses never to leave as they couldn’t afford to live.I get tired of hearing people saying the British people did well out of them.

@krishnaats7141 Winston Churchill fought hard to try and get food over to India,cargo ships were being destroyed as fast as we were sending them,Churchill went cap in hand to America asking for help but it was the Australians they did help
