  1. Doesn't take long to spot a conservative meatball. First what they say is a cliche from long ago. Secondly, they often start with a disclaimer about how they really aren't evil. Then they proceed to be a total ultra maroon. And they are always up in someone else's business. "Little Debbie cakes." And they end with declaring that others (not themselves) be forced to do whatever whatever big-brother thought their two neurons could scrape together.

  3. I doubt it's that simple. For example, Crockett is calling it out here. She wouldn't do that, if she was a puppet like the Republican people. Nothing is ever simple. There are, of course, lobbyists. And that some politicians have their campaigns at least partly funded by corporation and special interest groups is undeniable. But that's a long, long way from saying "America is owned" and "politicians are puppets."
