  1. The Republicans are really, really bad actors. The only people who buy into their snake oil campaigns are, themselves, as unconvincing as a pro wrestler from the 80s--think Rowdy Roddy Piper. Remember him? He didn't try to be convincing. He hammed it up, but, still, lots of people bought into it. Republicans are worse than Roddy, worse than the old Republican Serials villains--twirling their mustaches.
