I think one of the main problems here is that some people feel lost and hopeless, and so must pin all their hopes, and therefore their lives on an obviously narcissistic conman. If someone feels that lost, then they need real help: medical, psychological help.

@charlottecolley6966 Unfortunately there's no going just a little MAGA. It's all in or nothing. I'm sorry about your son. I'm very blessed that both my parents are left leaning Democrats. My younger sister is MAGA, though. But she lives in another state, away from the family. So that's fine. My parents still have to deal with her, but I have nothing to say to her. She has 2 children, lives in West Virginia, and I hate thinking about how she has taught her kids. So I don't. Maybe this will all end one day, and they'll come back to us.
