  4. Since there already are more privately owned guns that people in the U.S., then those people already have guns. Right? So they're set for defending themselves. And new people coming up, wanting to start their gun collection can go through background checks, etc.--or that's the way it should be. Your freedoms are not being taken away. The NRA wants you to parrot that line, so they can keep making money.
