Not really so much the public schools. Schools can't control how some people stop learning in their adult lives. They probably never learned much to begin with, but whatever logical thinking they learn evaporated over time--like any muscle when you don't use it. That's not the schools' fault. That all on the people who allow themselves to become mindless automatons.
