Republicans have worked hard to dehumanize a lot of people. These include (but aren't limited to): migrants and immigrants. The point of dehumanizing a person is to make it easier to not only do horrible things to them, but to make those who've been propagandized accept those horrible things, even cheer them on. In other words, the Republican base is made up of insane people. They aren't just dumb, or pawns in their politicians' hands. Their brains have been twisted to the point that they are psychotic.

Not sure I understand what you're referring to. How about something a little more direct? "Do not mistreat or oppress a foreigner, for you were foreigners in Egypt." (Exodus 22:21.) Or, really, you never need to go further than this: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. / By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:34-35.) So, unless you love everyone and everything, you aren't Christian. That simple.
