I just had an inspired image while watching McCarthy there. When these Republicans tell the host to shut up so they can answer the question, but then go on and on with talking points (instead of answering the question) the host should put a revolver to the Republican's head--and cock it. Then the host should say, in their best Dirty Harry voice, "Go ahead. Don't answer the question. Make my day!" We'd get some answers then! lol

@AdamBladeTaylor They do, somewhat. In this video the host said, 2-3 times, things like, "So you're not going to answer the question....You didn't say George Santos once....I didn't ask about a broken congress." And McCarthy just claimed he was in the process of answering the question, and went right on with his nonsense. The hosts are doing their jobs. Short of my intentionally humorous and ironic suggestion, I guess they could cut the Republican's mic.

@AdamBladeTaylor She didn't "kind of" call him out; she called him out. There's only so much a host can do with that. They could cut the mic and take the camera off the Republican, like Fox does to Democrats. But then they'd be like Fox, as I said earlier. I sympathize with you: I wish it could be different. But that responsibility lies with the Republicans who aren't doing things as they should be done. And their voters vote for them because they are disrespectful of the so called "MSM."

@AdamBladeTaylor She called him out directly, 2-3 times. Cutting the mic and turning the cameras away is what Fox normally does, and maybe they don't want to be Fox.
