If you ever wondered (or just assumed) how you would react in mid- to late-1930s Germany, or when there was slavery in the U.S., or when women got the right to vote, or the Civil Rights Act was passed: Then you can tell by how you react to what the Republicans are trying to do to LGBTQ. Persecution and scapegoating of a minority is persecution and scapegoating of a minority.

@joshuanorman2 The issue is that conservatives make up their own reality. And then disseminate that through talk radio, Fox, their politicians, etc. And Druss is referring to a reality in which we don't actually live. But they do. I never thought reading so much science fiction as a kid would help me to explain a political party in the U.S., but there you go. Conservatives don't just believe this, they know it like it's a fact: like gravity. For them "the woke agenda" is going after their children, in all kinds of dastardly ways.
