  1. MAGA doesn't use logic, demand facts, but assume that whatever they believe must be real. That's what Maher is doing in this clip. They can't stop and think about anything, just like Maher. They believe, and, "Dam (sp) the torpedoes, full steam ahead!" Logic requires time, consideration, checking your math. I think the act of believing makes some people feel like they are in control: Reality matches their will. But math and critical thinking requires humility. The universe doesn't give a flying you-know-what at a rolling donut about your beliefs. Some people are okay with that. Some aren't.
