I have a theory as to why her personal stories of love and compassion don't work: She's using the guise of love and compassion to push an ideology (in the hopes of making it a law) that totally lacks love and compassion. She's using her family as a political tool, the main purpose of which is not to save lives, but endanger them by taking away proper medical assistance. And all of that is to appeal to conservative evangelicals, and use their votes, as she used her family, to gain power by taking power away from pregnant women. So the whole thing rings hollow.
