Imagine wanting to convince the poor and stupid, who wouldn't be able to afford everything they needed (especially quality medical care in an emergency), that they--the poor--want a for-profit system...for everything, especially medical care. I'd think that would be hard to do. But they had decades to sell this idea. And they succeeded.
