  1. The OP is correct. Republicans enter office with a surplus, left by the previous Democratic President, and they leave behind a deficit. I don't know if this happens every single time, but often enough that it might as well be a given. Republicans pass legislation that helps the super rich. Democrats pass legislation that helps everyday people. Especially, if you look at Republicans since Trump, the only thing they do is start a conspiracy, then claim to work on it and eventually claim to solve it--when they made up the whole thing. Republicans since Trump have done nothing at all, except political theater for their base, and tax breaks for the super rich.
