  1. I remember how Obama took six books with him, on a one-week vacation. Reading is a great way to learn new things. Some people are more oral; I get that, but sitting down, being still, focusing on the page and what you're thinking about: That exercises your brain. The greatest writers and thinkers need to be read. The more advanced ideas are really only available through reading. I guess you can watch videos on Quantum Theory, and maybe listen to an audio version of Plato or Moby Dick. But reading and processing the written word heightens your ability to think critically. It gives you a better understanding of language, and how to use it.

  3. I remember hearing about that too. Trump isn't illiterate. He just struggles with reading. Maybe he has a reading disorder. Who knows? Maybe he thought it was worth the effort to read those books. Very curious, though.
