@harold9394 "lame doesn’t have a Y in it." The phonetic pronunciation of it can though, which is what that was. :P

@bjornstahle4652 There is the word "lay," though. And that's probably where they got it. The phonetic pronunciation, then, would include the spelling. La would be phonetically pronounced "lah." So to get across the long a sound, you'd use the similar word "lay." Or that's how I saw it.

@bjornstahle4652 Check this out. I just looked it up. This is the phonetic pronunciation of lame: "Break 'lame' down into sounds: [LAYM] - say it out loud and exaggerate the sounds until you can consistently produce them." :)

@bjornstahle4652 I know about the line over the letter thing, of course. But there is no such option here, on a keyboard, when spelling out a word. I've already shown you the proof. I don't know what to say now. This was all meant as a lark, anyway. Just having some fun. But you wanted to make it serious. Well, I showed you the serious pronunciation. Tell you what. Do it yourself. Go to google, type in phonetic pronunciation lame. See what you get.

@bjornstahle4652 "You did not show "proof" no source information to back up your ludacris claims." Well, it deleted my first attempt at a reply. Let's try again. Oops, my bad for not including my source. Did you not search Google for phonetic pronunciation lame, as I suggested? I got it from the first link that pops up after that search. The site is called youglish. By the way, while you're checking that, maybe also check the spelling for "ludacris." Your spelling is used for the rapper. The word is actually spelled ludicrous.

@williamgullett5911 Better question, if you're going to necro a thread, is how's that working out for Trump? He's gearing up for how many more indictments? 3-5? And the big one is in Georgia, where he is on tape telling the governor to change the election results. Not that anyone is holding their breath for him to be charged with 37 charges of the espionage act, or attempting to overthrow an election, but we are hoping he'd face at least half the justice that anyone who wasn't rich would face. But, sure, defend a traitor. That makes you patriotic!

Ad hominems are used in lieu of any actual rebuttals. They want to dismiss Chris Christie, but can't, without personal insults.

@fd9987 Give us your chuckleheads, your racists, your Nutsies, yearning to breathe their oppression on minorities! :P

Right? I don't see how the Republican base can accept insults about obesity and old age.
