  1. Republicans want to disenfranchise voters who will likely vote for Democrats. They know MAGA will make a tailgate party of election day, and will do whatever they're told about IDs. This is a part of their attempts to get rid of mail-in ballots, and require that the counting AND voting are both done in one day.
