  1. These Republican officials participated in what caused the riot, and should be brought up on charges. They fanned the flames, and refuse, even now, to admit they were wrong. I can understand that they might have underestimated how malleable and acquiescent their voters are, but they've seen how dangerous their political games are. And they will not stop. They are deliberately exacerbating the already volatile social, political, and intellectual divide. And it's only going to get worse.
