  1. By pushing this idea of immunity, after being infected once, Trump seems to be priming his supporters to accept the insanity of herd immunity. But I saw a story today about a person getting infected a second time, and it's worse than the first.

  2. He got out way too quickly. Even with simple surgery, a person would stay in the hospital for 1-3 weeks. And, when you do get out, you'd be messed up from the pain medicine, not eating your regular diet, and having gone through the ordeal of being in the hospital. No way the doctors agreed to let him out; they must've been forced. Even if Trump wasn't still taking meds, he'd be loopy and crazy for a week.

  3.  Michele P  Maybe "simple" was a little vague. I've been sick for a couple days, so not thinking clearly. I had 2 perforations of the small intestine, and 2 Carcinoid tumors, done in 2 separate surgeries. I was in for a month. And, in the last 3 years, I've gone back numerous times, for excessive vomiting and diarrhea--no surgery. And I stayed for 1-3 weeks every time. So it depends. And I doubt Covid was any easier to deal with. But I don't know. My point is that he was in and out way too quickly.
