It's not "40% of the country." Remember, millions of people who are of voting age don't vote. And there are millions more who are too young to vote. 71 million voted for him in 2020, from a total population 335 million. That's 20% of the country.

@ofthenearfuture I appreciate what they mean, and I'm sorry to nitpick. But people say this a lot, and it's just factually incorrect. They make it sound like 150 million Americans support him. That's just not true. Units matter with numbers, and it's not "of the country," but "of the voters." And I'll keep reminding people of that.

Learn what words mean. Secondly, how does he resonate with "average guys"? Because he has been wealthy all his life, living in a way you can't imagine? Because he's not patriotic, moral, or intelligent? Because he lies all the time? You didn't say why he resonates, so I had to ask.
