If there was a modern Nazi party that, in addition to being Nazis, also did everything I wanted to see get done. And I mean EVERYTHING, not just one thing, even. Yet they were also Nazis. Then I wouldn't be able to look past the glaring awfulness of them, just because they checked all my other boxes. Know why? Because one of my boxes is to not be Nazis! If anything, being a hateful party out to deny my very existence would be a really important box, that I couldn't just ignore. Gay Republicans. (sigh)
