A report with the police could help someone else, down the road, when this bigot does it again--as he likely will. But, in addition to the police, reporting it to his work could make things hot for him. If he has something like this on his record already (by the police and/or his job), then this report could further the strikes against him. What strikes me is that he left work and pursued the egg man, to say nothing of his antisemitic remarks while on the job. It's likely this guy has his violence barely in check. He's looking for an excuse to act on it, and can't control himself when called on his psychotic bigotry. I don't think ignoring it is the right thing to do. A record should be made, with both the police and his job.

And not being a liberal, you'd like it very much if no one reported hate crimes, I'm sure.

That's a lot of biased assumptions on your part. He's a regular caller to the show: That's why he called. He's obviously an adult, you dolt. And he was obviously there. Guess you've never been the victim of a hate crime? I haven't. But I imagine it's extremely jarring, especially if it's antisemitic. Seems to me like you're the attention seeker and clueless narcissist.
