It's not the country, itself, of course; it's the people who are great. Or not. Americans are all very different. We have fought each other in the past, but we've always compromised. We bring together all possible points of view. That's why the country has always been great. But now we're unable to compromise, because half the voting public is crazy a box of rocks.

@ferret495 "I think it is because she showed she looked sorry for him." You're onto something there. She didn't act nasty to him. When he spoke his conspiracy nonsense, she said, in a sympathetic voice, That's not true. She wasn't combative; Trump was. And he looked like a senile, crazy old uncle.
