  1. Interesting, is this a recent development? I've been to NYC in 2019 and I thought the subway was fine. I mean yeah there are crazy people, but it's a big American city, what did you expect? I never really felt unsafe in NYC when I was there. One of the few cities outside of the Netherlands (where I live) where I could see myself living for a couple of years.

  2. It definitely sounds more German than Dutch (coming from a Dutch person), but since most people can understand German reasonably well in the Netherlands, it's not hard to understand at all. I could have followed along without subtitles for sure.
