  1. The idea that having opinions that do not allign with 1 of 2 parties is somehow weird just shows how fucked up a 2 party system is. I mean for comedic effect obviously some of the points are asinine, but the idea that you can have idea's from 'across the isle' so to speak is somehow weird just shows how increadibly polarised and tribal the US really is. In a parlimentary system it becomes very obvious that you CAN be pro-abortion, but anti-immigrant, or pro-deregulation, but also pro-lgbt, or pro-welfare, but also anti-drugs. All these topics are pretty much independant and somehow having the exact same opinions as 1 of 2 parties on basically every topic is either one heck of a coincidence, or tribalism.
