  1. Actually, you don't need one company (or government) to own everything for a single card for transportation. In the Netherlands we have the OV-kaart (Public Transport card) which can be used to check in on all public transport and because of where you check in and out, it knows which company should get the money. It's a fairly simple and quick system. Also, as a student, I get free public transport, which means that you can check in with that card anywhere without actually having to pay (the government does that). It's a pretty good system, and technically not that difficult to make.

  2. I've found this woman that interviewed Chris Heaton incredibly irritating. Constantly making all kinds of weird completely unfounded assumptions, while completely ignoring anything Heaton said. "This is a responsible government that is preparing for every eventuality. I think, no matter what the parliament says, until the deal is ratified we will be doing this." "So this no-deal planning is a hoax to scare your MP's into backing Theresa May's deal?" Wait, what? How can you possibly even remotely arrive at that conclusion? Maybe next time try to actually listen and respond to what he says, instead of spilling out obviously prepared heavily opinionated questions at someone without any regard for the response. It's not the first time she's done that. Can it please stop?
