13:31 in the Netherlands we don't even have school sport teams at all. Sport clubs are not related to schools and something you just join as a kid outside of school. There is a 'gala' (the formal dance) but I believe that's a bit of an americanism and doesn't even remotely mean the thing it means at least in media. It's just a thing that exists, is kinda fun, but it's not an important event or anything. Even at that time in my life the gala was not that big of a deal. In that year alone like at least 5 things happened that I cared a lot more about.

Yeah in the Netherlands I've only sung the National anthem in school a couple of times, really just to learn the song. Not even remotely close to daily (more like 5 times in 14 years).

@Shoomer88 in the Netherlands at home the age is technically 0. Because the government isn't allowed to enforce what happens behind closed doors outside of high level crime like murder and stuff. However it is massively frowned upon giving your own children alcoholic drinks. And it might be one of many reasons child protection comes along and takes care of your children. (Child protection is a government agency that takes care of children when a judge rules that the parents are incapable of doing so in pretty extreme cases).

@theflyingdutchguy9870 yes, and as a Dutch person, I've continuously thought this practise to be weird as hell for basically my entire life. Why congratulate someone with the fact that their nephew happened to be born on this day years ago? Like what did you have to do with that? The parents I can at least understand a little bit, but uncles and aunts? No man, I literally just do it because everyone else does it and I don't want to look like the weird one, but if the practise ends, I wouldn't mourn it for a day.
