  2. Same, although things are crazy in the Netherlands rn as well, it's not even remotely as bad as in the US. Luckily the Netherlands has a much more robust democratic system where no one has even remotely the same amount of power as the US president has, or any party as much as the Republicans (literally never has the Netherlands had a single party with more than 50% of votes, more than 33% is already extremely rare).
