@Hungabrigoo 1. There absolutely is. In fact being pro-immigration was historically a right wing topic, since it is the easiest way to grow an economy fast, and is especially good for business. More people means more potential employees, and more potential customers at the same time. Any sane business of substantial size wants mass immigration. 2. Calling the torries pro-immigration is absolutely laughable to the point I don't know whether you are just trolling or serious.

@bristoled93 the torries have been in power for the vast majority of the time since the early 20th century. You can't really say that it has been higher than ever under the tories, because compared to what? There's nothing to compare it to. It's not like they were in the opposition for 30 years or something to get some actual data. And since the vast majority of factors that determine immigration figures are completely outside of the governments control, you can't really compare 2 governments, only long term trends. And the tories haven't been in the opposition long term since world war 1.
