  1. In England we are lucky you can get methadone, suboxone etc for free and for as long as you need. Free syringes from most chemists. You have to give up your flat if you are on housing benefits, then into detox for about 6 weeks then a halfway house for a few months or so. Must be very hard to try give up with no help unless you got expensive insurance in USA.
