  2. Look up Cerro Gordo, the next town. Brent bought it two years ago and is totally renovating what's left of the town with a view to reopen it as a destination. It's called 'I bought an abandoned mining town' I think....... very interesting.

  5. CINDY619 I follow Brent who bought Cerro Gordo, next town & he mentioned how natives were forced off the lands as silver mines were built. They had a very violent living. Chinese miners were made to live in caves and the outskirts of the town. Strongly recommended you follow his channel. Very good view.

  8. This place is like a upmarket SLAB CITY. Was watching the fella Brent who's bought Cerro Gordo, the next town to Darwin & put two & two together to realise that this is the place & not the gaff in Australia. Very much recommend you look up Brent & his adventures. Think it's 'I bought an abandoned mining town'
