Building an emotional relationship with a child when they are very young to then having a relationship is "grooming" This is defined in british law.

@randomuser4201 When he first met him he was a child.

@johnkitching2248 Not in british law.

@randomuser4201 But that isn't the situation. He didn't just bump into a gay 16 year old boy and started a fling.

@johnkitching2248 Depends whether your relationship was ongoing and as an adult you encouraged an unatural relationship with a vulnerable child.
8
@johnkitching2248 Were you also 9 years old or a young age? Was there a long time gap between meeting her in later life when she was over 16 years in age? - If you were much older?
7
@randomuser4201 Look up the definition of grooming under british law.

@randomuser4201 A professional teacher would have firm boundaries. Only meeting and talking at the education centre. Also having worked in theatre myself, there are rules about children having chaperones.

Catherine and Percy were fully grown adults. This is a child.

Andrew Bridgen tried but the speaker refused to use the law and stop his dismissal. The speaker needs to be replaced.

But he wasn't 16 years old when he met the boy? He developed a relationship with him at a much younger age.

The child is the victim.

@ashleybellofsydney Not at all. Being gay is fine with another consentual above 16 year old gay person.

@Marvin-dg8vj Like the Barrister said, the time line and nature of the relationship would have to be defined in detail.

@randomuser4201 Students. With a permission signed letter from the parents. When i was in theatre on a sweltering hot day i asked a few child actors if they wanted an Ice lolly from the shop. One of them wanted to come with me and choose. Their chaperone said no, so there are rules about leaving them unattended.

@ashleybellofsydney He's been issued with an NDA. Only he can answer that but as a child he's a vulnerable victim in the eyes of the law.

@randomuser4201 I class myself as left wing. Not the fake left, who are really on a par with the Austrian moustache man and Mao, but real left.

From the people who have spoken out so far, which has not been categorically denied by ITV or slander, libel charges by Phil himself and the NDA on the poor guy etc. I think like the barrister, at this point it certainly looks like there was an inappropriate relationship when this man was a child. It's not unusual in showbiz.

@randomuser4201 There are facts. But due to a 1940's weaponised Crown Corp (Ofcom) Big Brother unlawful zip on UK freedoms, they don't get through to citizens. Plenty of credible reporters out there who have not been sued by ITV or Schofield. And Assange is still locked up.

@ashleybellofsydney Non Disclosure Agreement. A legal document that stops you talking publically.
1
@randomuser4201 You did ask.
1
@Thomas Shelby Yes.
