  1. Two years after the fall of the Welsh uprising, the leader Llywelyn was hanged, stretched and dismembered within Cardiff Castle. Beautiful rooms decorated by Burges. Great example of gothic architecture.

  2.  @katiegoodall5347  My papa was a lover of visiting castles and in particular Welsh history. I know lots of tourists with ancestral routes in Wales are interested in visiting these places. It's important we preserve our history and it's good for financial reasons as lots of people are dependent on tourists economically.
