We are "less free to speak our minds". It's not a feeling, it's a reality. Whether it's a bewildered, old codger retweeting a trans-critical poem and being lynched by five coppers for causing someone "anxiety", or a young Christian arrested for praying silently in her head next to a family planning clinic. We have every reason to feel concerned when we express the "wrong" opinions, and to those that aren't concerned... One day your opinions will be the "wrong" opinions. Nonsense never stands still.

Considering Triggernometry's impact on YouTube and, let's face it, modern culture as a whole, I'm surprised they don't already have a million subscribers.

Bullets may kill, but misgendering really hurts

Mark Steel is a likeable leftie. Old school, and you know where he stands. There's precious little of them left, and whilst I don't agree with their principles, at least they have some.

Someone in my daughter's class was recently suspended for criticising a fellow classmate. This classmate was trans. Children are not mature enough to process modern gender ideology, and rather than the critical child being excluded, perhaps the headmaster should speak with the trans pupil's parents and explain that childhood is difficult enough already without them peddling their entitled and delusional "progressive" ideology through their child, who almost certainly doesn't fully understand what it represents, and forcing the rest of the class play pretend.

There was a point when her voice breaks during this interview. Clearly and understandably, this was a traumatic experience which no one should have to endure.

The loss of Andrew Neil negates any argument the BBC are trying to change their bias
72
We need more of these... What happened to satire? Great stuff!
57
Your integrity makes me smile.
54
If only all heckles are as funny as "Honey Nut Queerios"😂
52
My gran wasn't racist, but she hated celebrity chefs. "I don't mind Ainsley Harriot, but I don't like the rest of them", she used to say.
41
I’m nearly deaf from all the treading on eggshells. 😂 Who’d be a comic, these days?
40
I was once called a "bigot" for claiming a microcomputer from the 80s was underpowered. 😂 It's how I got my ironic user name. When someone calls you an "...ist", you know they no longer have a coherent argument and there is very little point in continuing the conversation.
39
I'm so looking forward to this one... I've seen him live, and he's brilliant. He doesn't toe the Liberal line, but he's not spewing out sexism and racism, either.
30
Bill Burr? Really? I'm in!!!!
28
At this stage, I'm not sure if this is a "win" for Triggernometry or Stephen Fry 🤣
24
I've always thought the moral arbiters of the UK should be bankers. They are such a virtuous bunch of lads. Good luck to them, they only have our best interests at heart 😅😅😅😅
24
This is a rare video where everyone looks good. Konstatin was not judgemental, and the students were receptive. Good work!
22
This is a controversial subject... I applaud Triggernometry for airing this, they've clearly got a big old pair o' balls.
20
Globalisation is the answer to all our problems. The Mrs reads the guardian, and she told me so. Please ignore the potential recession, bat-eating virus spreaders. Keep reading the guardian.
18
@kittyroo-x4p Yes. The trick is to make the intolerance gradual, until one day, we're afraid to make a sound, never mind string a sentence together.
16
@stephenbrough8132 Someone once called me a "Fat Northern Bigot" in the comments section for expressing an opinion on an 80's microcomputer. It was so ridiculous I made it my username, just for fun. Some people don't get the joke and take the username at face value, which means they think someone with bigoted opinions recognises themselves as such, advertising it to the world via their username. I thought people were more intelligent than that. I was wrong. 😂
15
I don't see what all the fuss is about. It's not like the biggest comedy festival in the world is in Scotland, is it? Oh, hang on...
15
I always wonder how Konstantin keeps his cool amidst gotcha questions and opinions dressed as fact, designed to discredit his honest, and in no way controversial viewpoint. Well done, Mr K.
15
Geoff's podcast is a work of genius. 👍
13
Konstantin: "I don't want you to slam the woke"... Francis: "You can if you want to!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
13
I lived in the USA for year in 1998. I found the people to be both friendly, and decent, both to each other and to foreigners, such as myself. I can't imagine it's like that, now. The last thing the UK needs it to do is follow the crippling tribal war currently raging in America.
11
@incurableromantic4006 I believe his stance has somewhat softened, over the years. What was black-and-white as a young man, is often murky-grey when we're older. However, I'm sure your attitude towards leftists is "live and let live, and good luck to them". 😂
11
The large chair and mic position make Konstantin look like a toddler in close up. This comment may be "off topic".
10
This conversation got very "real" at the end... You could hear the sphincters tightening. I agree, we should talk about the definition of the word "racist" so we don't bandy it about and smear people who may be misinformed but have no ill intent.
9
Konstantin expressed his opinion honestly and politely. That's as much as he needs to do. His opinion does not have to match everyone else's and it doesn't have to tick the boxes of other political pundits.
9
Amen, bro.
9
If ever there was a Triggernometry video which needs a part two... it's this one!
9
People have to be pigeonholed, these days, based on race, gender, age, preferences, etc... Surely, there are more accurate divisions we could make, which aren't as obvious.
7
Simon Evans brings a bit of class to right-of-centre comedy, and an example to those that think right-wing comedy is Jim Davidson.
6
@StimParavane It's no longer Labour.
6
@PL-ds5jn +1. Britain led the world in satire. Once.
4
Superb! Great to see some quality satire.
4
He’s a surprisingly cynical old soul, Farage.
4
As lockdown is eased, there's less chance of riots, thanks to MacDonalds re-hiring all those burger-flipping, wannabe anarchists. Black Lives Matter, but they'd better get my drive thru order right.
4
Does "Toxic Masculinity" mean masculinity is intrinsically toxic, there are just toxic elements? I don't see what Gillette did wrong. I like to get gender criticism from my razer. I also get my views on racism from my bog roll.
4
Triggernometry would not be half as watchable without Francis' comic relief. 👍😂
4
Bugger me, this one was dull. I mean, it's a serious subject and everything, but she just wasn't engaging.
4
@tommyrotton9468 +1 Twitter seems to be full of purple-haired prats, desperate to take offense at nothing.
4
I was surprised by his Grenfell Tower material (saw it on Comedy Unleashed), and I almost hated myself for laughing my tits off. This guy knows comedy, and it's true what they say... if it's funny, it's funny.
3
@Olly133mhz None of us mind a bit of Ainsley.👍
3
@Corteum My fatuous comment on its own would suggest as such.
3
These are some "Gammon all-stars", right here! 😀
3
I've found that mermaids are underrepresented in almost all industries. Equal rights for mythological fishy creatures!
3
I just feel that government pawns are aligned with a different set of billionaires... Tesla and Meta instead of Black Rock.
