I was on a Zoom call with a colleague who berated the "far right". I asked him to explain exactly what he meant by "far right", and he became flustered and somewhat confused. I did not receive a coherent answer, but I assume it's "anyone who doesn't agree with the narrative". This is most people, at this point.

I was one of the first to experience online dating, back in 2001. The women I contacted during this period were keen to meet-up, appreciated my company and were grateful of the attention they received. I met my wife during this time. From what I can see, online dating has radically changed, and if you're a man, things appear to be much worse. ☹

Online dating has done to relationships what Amazon did to the high street. Why should women talk to the derth of average-looking men when there are very attractive men with whom to engage? Those fellows at the top of the pile are very busy, and it's a great time to be a good-looking man... Polygamy awaits.

@johnk-pc2zx that's the problem, yes

@RichardTheFourth32 Its like we're devolving into lesser apes, with the social hierarchy to match. ☹️

I was once referred to as a "Nazi" for having an opinion on a home microcomputer. Seriously. I was also called "Fat Northern Bigot"... I liked it so much, it became my username.

@sandgrownun66 They'd just use their rent-a-bogeyman, Tommy Robinson

I would like someone to give a coherent description of what the "far right" actually is. Just once would be fine.

I don't believe Starmer to evil, just incompetent. Perhaps if he was evil, he'd have a b-stard clue what he was doing.

@cupra2Jock. Just as long as you're not shitting in those nappies, now 👍

The internet allows for a huge chasm between people of different ideologies. I agree that the left are often a bizarre mixture of utopian pedlars and intolerant puritans, but once you're out in the real world, chatting to people regardless of beliefs, we're far more subject to the human condition and there is more of an understanding that we're all in this together, regardless of politics. Less internet, more etiquette! 😉

Lefties are now the rebellion, in their own mind if nothing else. "Things will be great when we're in charge" will be their main push. Bugger that.

If I didn't take my dog for a daily walk, I think I'd gradually go mad. (and get bitten by the little b-stard)

I quite liked Jeremy Corbin. At least he offered a choice. It's not a choice I would make, but a choice, none-the-less. What choice did we have at this election?
