So, Hartlepool isn't a hot bed of identity politics and knee-taking subservience? Who knew? 😂

Was there a particular point where Stonewall lost its way? There current values are ridiculous. Even Simon Fanshaw thinks they're wide-of-the-mark.

@johntowers1213 they show nothing but contempt for the working people of the North and their views.
21
Some people are gay, not through trends or ideology, but because that's how they were born. Don't they deserve some security in their relationship, too? Does their having the right to marriage affect you in any real way? I was once against same sex marriage, but I no longer feel this way.

There are things the BBC still does well, if not without partiality. Radio, journalism, documentaries, local news. I guarantee they will be the first things to go when budgets are cut. We will be left with woke hectoring, guilt trips, third rate drama that doesn’t compete with the worst of its peers, and management who will cling on to the bitter end.
17
People tend to poll more left wing than they vote, this is absolutely consistent. The only question is "how much?".

Personally, I don't believe any substance should be banned, whether it's tobacco or heroin. I'm a believer in personal responsibility and prohibition creates criminal networks, not sobriety. I do not condone cigarettes or narcotics I just think a government naughty list is both pointless and potentially harmful.
13
I'm guessing those who follow BLM have nothing but contempt for the pandering idiots, and are enjoying the power trip.
12
Dame Edna proved that women can be funny.

@danielhayes3607 That's not the important part of my argument. I was merely trying to distinguish between genuine homosexuality, which most definitely occurs, and faux-mosexuals. Alan Turing was not influenced by Tiktok, it's the other way around.
10
Prohition does not create sobriety, just a load of would-be Al Capones.

Both Simon and Geoff seem quite reasonable in their views and their comedy. It's almost as if they're both intelligent and even-handed enough to take a step back from the current stale trends of comedy, represent their own views and by extension, the views of most people. It'll never work. 🤣

@stumccabe Whether my assertion that people are born gay is correct or not, do you think no one is genuinely gay? If someone is gay, I believe they deserve to be married, if that's what they want. I don't think we should have the right to stop them, and it affects my life, or yours, not one jot if they do.
6
@onastick2411 That's the Hartlepool I know and love. Thanks for the reminder. 😂
5
@stumccabe How is it equal rights if they aren't allowed to be married? If it's just a word that's different, then let them use the correct word. In fact, that's what happened 😀

If they picked the best players to make the best team, and they happen to be white, then what's the problem? Would they want a worse team for the sake of diversity? If they picked players because they were white, that would be an issue, but I'm guessing they didn't. I hope there is no tokenism, trying to appease the unappeasable, to water-down the final's squad.

It's always great to see Simon Evans. 👍

Farmers feed us. Politicians tax us. I know where my allegiance is. 👍
4
@ianbayliff2397 and yet people like to get married and should have to option, should they wish. (they're mad as a box of frogs if you ask me) 🤣
3
As a "baldy bum", as my daughter calls me, I would like to point out that my shiny, shiny bonce makes me in no way a victim or litigious, and, therefore, not a gamble to employ. We do not need blokes gaming the legal system, too. Let the woke make themselves unemployable, not the rest of us.
3
Perhaps they were all just fans of "Monty Python's Holy Grail"? "RUN AWAY!!!! RUN AWAY!!!" 😂😂
3
I believe that footballers, specifically, can often be targeted and falsely accused. They are soft targets and I am quite skeptical of allegations towards them. Thank god we have due process, or Ronaldo would be incarcerated as we speak.
3
Tony the Tiger very specifically said... "They're Great!". Now, I don't know about you, but I've never known a tiger to lie.
3
I'm increasingly of the opinion that modern identity politics is inherently homophobic. At least the justice system has shown itself to be impartial, on this occasion.

Leo Kearse for the win!

America likes to think we're a racist nation. I spoke to one American who thinks we still watch "Love Thy Neighbour".
2
So, Stonewall campaigned for gay rights, got them (good), but made more-and-more crazy demands so as not to become irrelevant?
2
@h____hchump8941 Meh, it’s what they’re known for, I suppose. There ya go, a glowing endorsement. 😀
2
It's infectious? How can I catch it? I'm scared. 😨
1
@dewilew2137 so, what would? I believe their societal issues go beyond drugs. They're just the symptom, in this case.
1
@j.joseph5353 I agree, but the stakes are far lower.
1
@johnwalters5410 that's the thing... It should be easy to create a credible opposition to the tight-fisted Tories. Labour failed.
1
Finally, Keir has shown he's more intelligent than he is spineless. Gender nonsense is voter poison and he realises this. Personally, I wouldn't trust him to run a bath, never mind the country, but still...😅
1
@jenniferriggs6565 looks that way. 🤔
1
How did the "Lesbian Nan" have kids in the first place? I find the modern world confusing... Homosexuals having children, and straight people bragging about never having the little sh*ts.
1
@reedy8585 I don't understand how this is related to my comment.
1
@reedy8585 Good point… Completely impartial news without bias or a corporate paymaster would be an amazing thing. Publicly funded bodies without concern for market forces are always gonna end up with a left wing bias. Such a shame, as we a need reliable news source, now more than ever.

Another phrase hijacked by the left for their own agenda is "white supremacist". I have a liberal friend who casually used "white supremacist" and I asked him what he meant. He had no idea, mumbled something about racism, and tied himself in knots.

If you ever think a comedian is offensive, do yourself a favour and watch a Scott Capurro set. It will be a revelation. His stand-up is brilliant, but you'll hate yourself for laughing. 😅 He's his own worst enemy.
