  6. I recently visited the low-rent seaside town of Skegness with the children. The most enjoyable aspect of Skeg, for anyone over the age of ten, was its majestic sea view. Not anymore. Now, this view is a tribute to chancers such as Dale Vince and his eco scarf. Dozens of slowly-turning turbines ruin this seascape. These days, there's literally no reason for small, cash-strapped seaside towns to exist. Turbines have ruined them. I guess they could use them to house illegal immigrants, as there's now lots of vacant hotels. Oh, they already do that in Skegness, but that's a very different conversation.

  7. Last week, my eleven -year-old daughter told me she was learning how the English language is "racist". That's gonna stand her in good stead as an adult, isn't it? 😂The example she gave me was "blackmail". Now, I'm no English professor, but I'm not sure as its origins are racist. I would like to point out she doesn't know how many days there are in June, or how to tie shoelaces.

  8. I filled up my fuel tank, this morning. £2 a litre. This was annoying, but as I walked towards the station's shop, I noticed a large "pride flag" sticker on the entrance, with a Shell logo on it. Not only are Shell ripping me off, but they're also pointing-out they're so much more virtuous than me. I wonder if the Muslims who work at the station are allies of the LGBT+ movement? I expect it was their idea to put the flag up in the first place 🤣

Can you imagine the potential issues this might cause? It's madness, but at this stage, I would accept a couple of weeks of potential calamity, if it was then followed by a swift exit to whichever dung heap they crawled out of. The Scottish government does not want anyone to be prosecuted with this new, vaguely-worded, incoherent excuse for legislation, as they know it will take an experienced barrister about thirty seconds to tear it to pieces. Remember, where there is any ambiguity, the court must side with the defendant. Sadly, it's just another "non-crime incident" waiting to happen.
