  1. The last thing you want is a smart meter. They can reprogram it remotely. They can charge you more at peak times. They can switch you off remotely. They send a reading back every few mins. Why on earth do they need to do that. They know what you are using when you switch it on and off. They can be hacked into. So people know when your not there. And most people seem to get bigger bills.
