So, the use of bright camouflage can be explained with game theory. First, one accepts that one must know themselves and the enemy. Second, one accepts that under even good conditions, knowing the enemy is difficult. Third, it's easier to know where you own guys are than the enemy. Fourth, if we don't know where our own guys are, even if we know where the enemy is, we can't capitalize on the opportunity. Thus, it is better to make sure we know where our stuff is even if it does the same for our opponents because it will benefit us more than the opponent.
