  1. This is what worries me about aliens, and it's why I hope we are alone. We are probably the only intelligent civilization in this galaxy, but what if we aren't and the other guys send eachother gifs of our smartest mathematicians doing groundbreaking work and laugh because their children are able to grasp quantum physics and astrophysics like we can understand basic algebra. That'd be horrifying. How would we even communicate with something like that. What I'd they are even better at speaking to eachother than we are. What if they are so good at communicating that to us, it looks like telepathy, when it's really just extremely high quality interpersonal intelligence.
