Actually this idea isn't bad. Green energy is, by definition, sustainable, meaning it works without intact supply chains. Also, nuclear energy is green energy. Yes, there are many situations in the military where shear power is required, but that's far from the majority of situations. Imagine our merchant marine being essentially sailing ships and deployable solar panels that can power a FOB during the day, meaning we use less fuel. Don't knock shit just because Elizabeth Warren said it. If you know the first thing about war, you know it costs money and anything that reduces costs means we can do more war better

@cageybee7221 It's not so much the military as it is congress which guides these contracts. Yes, military officers will exchange favors for the promise of jobs when they get out, but they don't have the same kind of leverage that politicians have

@cageybee7221 Cuba is tiny and doesn't have nearly as many immigrants from 3rd world nations. If you only account for citizens born and educated in the US, our literacy rate is as high as any other developed nation...how good that literacy is in practice, though, is a matter of contention, haha.
