  3.  @brianjschumer  Yeah, uh, have you heard of the Russian attack planes? Like, idk, the purpose-built IL-2? That was a real attacker and it was good at it. The Thunderbolt was a fighter that was pushed into the ground attack role. The IL-2 had a gun that could kill tanks. High explosive bombs did not kill tanks.
