I appreciate that you're encouraging your audience to respect the Chinese military. In the past, we've underestimated Asian countries and paid for it with lives (Japan and Vietnam, specifically). They're smart. Definitely smart enough to realize that they would be unlikely to build something from scratch and expect it to do as well as tested designs, so they copy. Their lack of experience, too, will become less important if a war happens. Do not forget that upon entering WWI and WWII, the US was incredibly green and had equipment and tactics horribly unprepared for what they would face, but within a year, we were doing fine. Same will go for China.

Until someone figures out a better way to create cover without carrying it, trenches will never go away.

Roman is an amazing person among amazing people. I was so glad to learn he was still alive. I want him to live. I want all of them to live so badly.

Of all the wars I wouldn't want to fight in, the American Civil War is at the top of the list, but WWI is just a hair lower.

I agree. I can really feel that this dude grew up with Bill Nye. Bill is proud.

They want concessions. They always do this when they want concessions.

This...this really makes sense, the intro. I've left the mainstream internet for private tree houses, holes in the internet varefully curated and small. In a way, it feels like we are returning to the internet of the early 00s, where we all lived on obscure forums and chatrooms because there wasn't the infrastructure for mass connectivity.

Love the video.

Hi! ^_^ Thank you for having me 🤍

Drones are Pandora's box. Machines coordinate faster, think faster, and can handle extreme acceleration better than any human. Once someone makes an autonomous fighter, humans just won't be able to compete, anymore. That won't be the case on the ground for a very, very long time, but things are more simple in the air. Musk is right and it doesn't matter how long an aircraft is supposed to serve; if manned fighters become obsolete tomorrow, nothing will change that. These fighters will only continue to serve because they're cheaper than making new ones. My one correction to Elon's last comment on Twitter is that the advantage of a machine is that it is faster, so a human controlling an aircraft slows that time. A human will control a Squadron, but not an individual fighter.

Please do more Chinese equipment. All of it. I need to learn more.

The algorithm is going to suppress the shit out of this, so here you go.

Give them a break. This is literally the most difficult operation a military can do. The US can only do it well bc we've been doing it for the last 300+ years.
12
Damn, and just after y'all finally put stabilizers in them. :(

I've never understood this. Like, imagine having a perfectly good tank, then getting outside of it.

The GPMG—by any name—is a fantastic weapon. To think that in a not distant future, GenZ will be looking at us like we look at Boomers with their M-60s makes me sad. The GPMG was my favorite weapon. Something about it vibrated my bones just right. I'd pay good money to get to shoot it one more time.

I've decided that the pine trees and toilet paper in an IFV is called Christmas decorations

I felt the same when I learned about it—just amazed. I wish the United States would buy some of these really good weapons from around the world. I mean goddamn, it's amazing.

Tanks have lower ground pressure than horses. Hell, they have lower ground pressure than people. The Russians train for mud, but it would make it more difficult and I think Putin wasn't counting on the mud lasting this long.

You should really define "meeting engagement," Cappy.

One of the best memories I have is sitting in the back of a humvee, after taking a five-hour "rest," freezing my ass off in the desert...anyway, ripping my sore dirty fingers into that Wheat Snack Bread and Jalapeño Cheese Spread and the last of a pack of old Pal Mals... Then washing it down with a Monster. Fuck, man, those were the bad old days ❤️

I love that it is a shipping container. I think these ultralight artillery pieces are the future.

Not bad for a first try. Not good, but definitely not the worst first attempt.

War Thunder has better Naval.

I smoked one with you, boss. I like this format.

A 35 year old sergeant? Jeez, how many NJPs did this guy get

Eh, S4 is what changes maps. Logistics people win wars. Infantry win battles.

This really is amazing. We'll probably see a new tank from the Americans in the next decade, but after that, I feel that those of us older than 30 aren't going to see a new tank in our lifetimes. At least, this will be the last generation of what we would recognize as a MBT.

Oh, so LAAD is cool again!? Fuck, man.

Damn you guys get promoted slow!

USS Helena! ❤

I have no idea what I'm here, but I'm glad I came.

I'm enjoying your channel! Might be one of my new favorites.

This is not at all what I expected from your channel. Nice!

I stumbled into the ICC once as a Lance Corporal during an op. I have never felt more underdressed, undereducated, and out of place in my life.

Maybe the Royal Marines will have this tech, but US Marines will have nothing new

Yeah, but the French made the tank better. Basically every tank is a descendent of the French tanks

Oh no the Teaboo is strong

I like the concept, but I feel like mortars are the way to go, and yes, let's make it beefy.

Do CZ next!

The hate will keep you warm.

Hi. American, here. For the accuracy test, you were measuring your skill and the usability of the sights as much as the weapon. A better test would be to fix it to a table, and not measure accuracy, but precision—do the bolts land in a similar spot, regardless of if it were the center of the target. Also, that's not a semi-automatic because it the weapon is not loading a new bolt; you are. It's easier, and it's magazine fed, but it's still like a pump action or bolt action.

I don't think I've ever heard something so new and complex explained so we'll. You keep doing you, Emily. This was one of the better Cool Worlds episodes, I think.
