  1. I didn't see much of Bob Keeshan as a kid, since as the son of a diplomat, I grew up overseas for the most part, with a year or two here and there back in the USA. I do remember him being one of the things that I missed about America when I was in the far east. You've told me far more about him than I ever knew, and now I sorely miss him. What a wonderful person he was.

  4. The reason that the Nazis didn't use poison gas in the second world war was that they never figured out how to fit horses with gas masks, and they were utterly dependent on horses for logistics.
