I must take exception to your assertion that anyone who could have been a surgeon or an engineer got a degree in worthless pseudointellectual crap like "gender studies" or "sociology". Those people were idiots before they got to colllege, and they went for those bullshit credentials because they realized, however dimly, that they weren't capable of doing anything worthwhile. To apply the analogy of the "B Ark" of the Golgafrinchans as described by the great Douglas Adams, these people aren't even capable of sanitizing a telephone.

@cee-cee If £2.5K per month is your idea of an impressive income, you desperately need to expand your horizons. I haven't settled for wages that low since I was a teenager.
