  1. I knew a man who was an investor in a business I was working for, and he was going to co-sign a line of credit for this busines. Bank turned down the application because the business was too new, so he withdrew his 30 million dollars from the bank and told their senior management that their loan officer was incompetent. They got to watch him take his 30 mil in a cashier's check across the street to deposit with their competition.

  2. A judge should take all of twenty seconds to look at the CD document and order the bank to pay her. Their incompetence doesn't excuse their obligation.
